Glen Rock NJ,  Stag House and Mane Loft at Stag House (formerly Doe.Tique), a full-service barbershop and salon located in Glen Rock, announce their relocation to 67 E Allendale Road, Saddle River, NJ, next to the Saddle River Inn. This expansion allows for the continued development of barber and salon services and an increase in capacity while keeping client health and safety as the top priority.

“While so many businesses in our industry did not survive the pandemic, we are lucky to have this opportunity to better translate our business design while providing more hours to our team and clients,” explains Stag House co-owner Christine Modica. “Expanding into two buildings will allow us to more than double our current capacity under COVID-19 mandates.”

Stag House’s new property dates back to the 1900s with significant historical importance to Saddle River. The former general store and post office, and storage barn, will now transform into a 1,000 sq. ft barbershop and separate 1,800 sq. ft salon. The newly branded Mane Loft at Stag House will replace the former Doe.Tique salon. Each building will be branded as its own business.

Rachel Israel, Stag House co-owner, adds, “As construction begins, we are thrilled to showcase our unique style and community outreach to Saddle River, while also growing deeper into Bergen County.” She continues, “We also promoted our barbers Gwen Roos and Kevin Modica to managers to help run operations at the new location.”

Since reopening in June 2020, Stag House implemented strict COVID-19 procedures and to this date proudly reports zero cases among their staff and guests. Temperature checks and waivers are required upon entering, with one-on-one after hours are available upon special request.

“Thank you to our loyal guests for believing in us and cheering us on throughout everything – we can’t wait to show you all our new home ‘in the woods,’” continues Christine.

Stag House in Glen Rock will close on April 15 and reopen on April 24 in Saddle River. For more information, visiwww.njstaghouse.com.

  1. When are the cancel police going to force a name change?

  2. We don’t understand what’s that about.

  3. Cancel the name? Not seeing how it is offensive or derogatory? I see them being a welcomed addition to Saddle River.

  4. Where have you been?
Something doesn’t have to BE offensive or derogatory to be Canceled.
Someone just has to BE offended or CLAIM it’s derogatory.

C’mon man. Get with the program.

  5. Stag House owner here- if our business name offends you please reach out to us so we can be sure to market ourselves away from whatever you feel attacked by. Our apologies. We were truly hoping for good feedback since this is such a leap of fate we are taking in such incredibly difficult times, to provide our team with a great future in an area we dreamed about. We are so excited to bring our existing guests and build new relationships with the community in Saddle River!
