Paramus NJ , as previously announced the Sears department store that has been an anchor of the Paramus Park mall since it opened in 1974 is closing and will be replaced by a Stew Leonard’s farm-style supermarket and a 12-screen movie theater .
Funny according to the signs the store is closing but they’re hiring? As P. T. Barnum once said, there’s a sucker born every minute.
Not even the best stand up comic could make shit like this up!
it takes a lot of work to close or setup a retail location. i worked many retail launches with unpacking, merchandising, etc. when i was younger. expect it’s the same here. they will need people to help with stock and shipping unsold merch to other locations. they may or may not “fire sale” all of the racks and interior display items.
