Platkin Helped Murphy Issue Orders & Mandates. On Emergency Powers, Corrado Says It’s Time to Give It Back

Trenton NJ, State Senator Kristin Corrado expressed concern with the nomination of Matt Platkin to be Attorney General, saying he advised Gov. Murphy to rule through executive order and mandates. On emergency powers, Corrado says we need some who will tell Gov. Murphy to ‘Give It Back.’
“I’m concerned that Matt Platkin was the counsel who advised Governor Murphy to govern by executive order and overbearing mandates for the past two years,” said Corrado (R-40). “On emergency powers, we need someone who shares the views of New Jerseyans that it’s time for Governor Murphy to give it back.”
Platkin served as Governor Murphy’s chief counsel at the start of the pandemic when the current State of Emergency and initial Public Health Emergency were first declared.
Republicans launched the #GiveItBack initiative today to urge Governor Murphy to give back everything he’s taken from New Jerseyans over the last two years, including emergency powers.
Saw this guy on teehee last night, he looks like he’s 17 years old.
nobody is “giving” anything back. If we want, we’re going to have to take it.
So much “behind the scenes BS” ALL over NJ, really. It’s like poison seeping through town by town. There really are bad people out there. I think it’s mostly power trips; have nothing of their own to make them feel whole, so they bear down on others. Hmmmm. Sounds a bit like tyranny.
I think the older you get you realize who people really are. It’s a shame it takes so much deception and cheating to open your eyes and see that the people that should be “working in your best interest” are really only working on theirs, at your expense. Rough.
I’m just very grateful that God looked after my mom in her nursing facility after Murphy dumped our covid positive seniors back in there, instead of in the hospital, where they should have stayed till recovered, or not. It was bad. That’s the taste he’s left in my mouth.
Then you have the small business owners losing their life’s work over “new” regulations and mandates.
