Paramus NJ, seems you not even safe in your own home, according to Paramus Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg a Jersey City man is accused of crashing a vehicle stolen from New York into the backyard of a Paramus home on Monday, then took off on foot .
Javon Reaves, 29, was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen car, when police found him walking on Alden Road after the crash on Highland Avenue.
Police said Reaves drove the stolen Nissan Maxima off the exit ramp of the Garden State Parkway, which abuts the home’s rear yard, thus resulting in the crash, and that he fleeing prior to officers’ arrival.
According to Chief Ehrenberg based on descriptions provided by witnesses, officers found Reaves, who initially tried to identify himself as the stolen car victim; however, it was “quickly determined” that was not the case.
Registration records revealed that the car was stolen earlier that evening from Monroe, New York.
Reaves was remanded to Bergen County Jail pending a bail hearing,
Will be out of jail promptly.

My thoughts exactly. This guy was actually walking right in my neighborhood which makes it extra scary. Need to get these creeps off the streets.
