Ridgewood NJ, Superintendent of Ridgewood Schools Mark Schwarz released the following information on the athletic field situation ,and the Ridgewood school budget process in an email to residents:
The February 8, 2024 Superintendent Coffee included an overview of our efforts to address field flooding concerns with the short-term, medium-term, and long-term solutions being pursued concurrently. We also discussed several other district updates, including an update on our District Goals, and responded to a variety of questions presented by members of the public.
The March 4, 2024 Board of Education meeting will include a presentation regarding the outcome of our Athletic Field ThoughtExchange. We will also provide a recap of the presentation at our March 14th Superintendent Coffee.
The preliminary budget hearing of the Ridgewood Board of Education will take place on March 18, 2024. Resident no longer vote on the school budget. We will discuss our progress in evaluating the district’s fiscal health and share our budget proposal for 2024-25. The presentation will include an overview of how our budget priorities align with the 2023-24 District Goals.

Exactly! The persons that should not be in our municipality are Paul Vagianos (Mayor) and Council persons Weitz (does less than zero), Whinograd (never stops talking and scheming), Perron (Deputy Mayor). Get rid of them and we can get this village back on track.

I don’t agree with knocking the house down. There is so much charm, but I do agree with getting rid of HB. Seems like more toxic than good for this village. People should find out what is really going on over there.

Long time resident, and never received a so called ‘e-mail’ . Does he only send emails to parents with children in the school system and forgets about all the registered voters?? and the taxpaying residents that get emails from the Village Ridgewood?? That’s not inclusive.
There are many residents in Ridgewood that do not have children in school system.

Ridgewood residence are in so much trouble they better crack open their piggy banks!!! MORE field maintenance on a turf field that should NEVER been installed BY A STREAM. Don’t forget about the new overpaid Admins in the “IVORY BUILDING” that do a lot less and are a lot less qualified in their positions…..
