Ridgewood NJ, Questions where raised at Wednesday’s Village council meeting by resident Boyd Loving as to why the Village was agreeing to build a $70,000 ADA ramp for a building a private business HealthBarn in Habernickel Park.The council looked like deer in the headlights , clearly caught off guard by the question .
It currently appears that HealthBarn is making no contribution and leases the property for $50,000. So the question arises why is the Village paying $70,000 for a property we are only receiving $50,000 ?
What is Prooerty 24 that will supposedly cost millions? Who is the beneficial owner of this property and why does the Village need to buy it with new municipal debt as per the Mayor’s public comments?
The Village owns the property so they’re responsible for ADA compliance. Boyd needs a new hobby.
It is a Village owned building. Got to be compliant.
They should have thought of that before they bought that dump.
Boyd’s more interested in a $70,000 ADA ramp than “Property 24” which could cost Village taxpayers millions, why?

that home is a shit show. it should of been knocked down like the other dumps on that land. but like I said more and more scams from the top. it will never stop. dirty dirty dirty ,
Health Barn should be ousted the second its contract is up. No renewal.
Just like Schedler should be sold to the highest bidder, why should Village taxpayers be liable for any costs at these properties?

I like to know who the hell is running this town. it’s going to the dog’s real fast. do we need to clean house agin. the top managers are lost. from what we see they are all overwhelmed . what happened to all the old experience. because the new bee’s do not have it. the village is looking doomed in many ways. what a shame.

Sell Gate House to the highest bidder. Why should STACEY ANTINE and her business HEALTH BARN benefit from taxpayer dollars? A business in a residential neighborhood reeks of CORRUPTION. Hopefully, this lease will not be renewed…
