Teaneck NJ, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of MARCELLE WILLIAMS (DOB: 07/28/1981; single; and employed as a Teaneck High School Basketball Coach/para-professional teacher’s aide) of Teaneck, New Jersey, on charges of Criminal Sexual Contact and Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Special Victims Unit under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Glen O’Reilly.
On Monday, March 11, 2019, the Teaneck Police Department received a report that Marcelle WILLIAMS had engaged in sexual acts with two juveniles between the ages of sixteen and eighteen-years-old on numerous occasions in Teaneck since November 2018. As a result of the investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Teaneck Police Department, Marcelle WILLIAMS was arrested on Monday, March 18, 2019 in Teaneck and charged with two counts of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24A, crimes of the 2nd degree, and four counts of Criminal Sexual Contact, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b, crimes of the 4th degree. WILLIAMS is currently lodged in the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and would also like to thank the Teaneck Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
