Teaneck Man Sought in Stabbing in Incident on Teaneck Road

Teaneck NJ, a Teaneck man is wanted by police for allegedly stabbing a man outside an apartment complex on Teaneck Road on Tuesday.

According to Teaneck Police ,Jacob Gibbs, 27, is “actively being sought,” Gibbs is accused of stabbing a 20-year-old Teaneck resident multiple times. Teaneck Police said the county SWAT team searched Gibbs’ home Wednesday morning but were unable to find him.

The stabbing victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he is recovering from his injuries, police said.

Gibbs was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
