Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood blog was not the only social media company having issues last night .Social media platform Parler jumped to the top downloaded app this weekend, as conservatives rally support to leave Facebook and Twitter over censorship.
“The media and the anti-Trump lunatics have awakened a sleeping giant. We gave a collective middle finger to the tech tyrants as Parler remains the NUMBER ONE most downloaded app in the world. Thank you!” conservative commentator Dan Bongino said Sunday morning.
Parler is in the top spot for most popular free apps on Apple as of Sunday morning, beating out TikTok and YouTube.
Because Parler does not cow-tow to the mainstream ie… Democrat media line Apple has threatened to ban Parler, the social media site popular with conservatives, from the App Store unless it comes up with a content moderation plan within 24 hours. Google reportedly also suspended Parler.
This comes as Twitter has permanently banned President Trump from the platform, while Twitter remains a safe haven for terrorists, dictators and foreign propagandists to use and abuse its platform.

The tech giants in America have the power to silence and censor Americans the same way the Chinese Communist Party censors their people. This is un-American and dangerous. When companies receive government immunities yet use their platforms to aid one political party while silencing the other we have entered dangerous territory. America is founded on Freedom of speech and it must be preserved. If these companies want to keep their government immunities then they must uphold every person on their platforms Constitutional rights otherwise they should lose all protections.

If you feel strongly about a using a different platform and mainstream media, stop complaining and vote with your $ and your feet. Get a Samsung. Don’t subscribe to NYT, send Trump or his kids your subscription $ on the alternate Twitter (Trumper?) – only a matter of time before it will show up.

Android also banned Parler.

This is an alternate “PlayStore” app to download apps (like Parler)
a) navigate to the APKPure website in your phone web browser

Say Ok / Allow
c) Wait for APKPure to install
