The 19-year-old was arrested last week at his home in Suffern on charges of grand larceny in the third degree, and criminal possession of stolen property in the third and fifth degree. He was processed and released a few days later according to Suffern Police Lt. Jim Giannetino .

Within an hour after his release, he was again spotted by Mahwah police driving a vehicle stolen out of Ramapo, and fled from officers once again back into New York.

The stolen vehicle then became disabled in Suffern, and police re-arrested the suspect. The teen was turned over to Ramapo police and charged with grand larceny, criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He also had two newly issued warrants out of New Jersey for his involvement in the pursuit from Mahwah into Suffern.

The youth  was arraigned in the Airmont Justice Court as a fugitive from justice and remanded to the Rockland County Jail.

  1. It’s an epidemic…..

  2. Jail and throw away the key once and for all. Right now the criminal justice system is a joke for many of these perpetrators.

  3. “The youth” is 19.
Why no name or place of residence?

Ah, OK. I understand…. he does not fit into their agenda.

No! That is too costly! Just put a bullet in his head via firing squad! Big savings for the taxpayers!!!
