BERGEN COUNT NJ, great news for tennis and pickleball enthusiasts! County officials announced that courts in seven towns have opened earlier than usual for the 2025 season, giving residents a head start on outdoor recreation.
A Head Start on the Season
“We’re very excited to be opening our County pickleball and tennis courts a little earlier this season,” said County Executive James Tedesco. “Our parks system provides our residents with spaces to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. I encourage everyone to take advantage of our incredible facilities and make the most of this beautiful spring weather!”
County Commissioner Steven Tanelli echoed the excitement, saying, “These facilities offer a new space for residents to explore their skills and enjoy active play in a relaxed setting. It’s gratifying to see yet another opportunity for our community to come together.”

Residents can now enjoy tennis and pickleball courts at the following Bergen County parks:

🎾 Riverside County Park – North & South (Lyndhurst & North Arlington)
🏓 Saddle River County Park – Rochelle Park & Glen Rock
🎾 Samuel Nelkin County Park – Wallington
🏓 Wood Dale County Park – Woodcliff Lake
🎾 Pascack Brook County Park – Westwood
🏓 Van Saun County Park – Paramus
