Ridgewood NJ, Monday October 29, the League of Women Voters in Ridgewood will host a candidates night debate for the Ridgewood School Board .
The candidates night will take place at 49 Cottage place at the Ed Center ,3rd floor from 7:30-:9:30 .
The two candidates are Cristopher Kaufman and B. Vincent Loncto . The LWV has put together a voters guide for Ridgewood residents .

Can’t wait to see Denise Lima strutting around, large and in charge, photographing eagles.
Denise “Started my morning commute seeing this type of American bald eagle flying over the Hackensack River” Lima? The same one who lifted a copyrighted photo of an eagle off of the internet, used it to fabricate a FB post and then shamelessly left it up there after she got caught? The same one who chased a speeding car down busy streets and through parking lots while taking pictures of it with her cell phone (while driving)? Very, very sad.
Did anyone watch last night? Who do you think was most convincing?
I think we should give Kaufman a chance even though he faltered on some questions. Once elected he can learn the ropes and I want to give him a chance on transparency and the over blown budget.
I watched. It was a train wreck for Kaufman.
Kaufman by his own admission did not prepare for the debate.
Yes, he was busy the night before but did he not decide to run months ago?
Kudos for running when no one else will but at the least he had to demonstrate that his preparation included more than just reading facebook.
Mr. Loncto clearly demonstrated his knowledge and his willingness to give of his time to serve our students.
I have to agree. Kaufman was a train wreck but I still want to give him a chance. Loncto was very slick and well prepared.
