  1. Private cord blood banking is a complete ripoff. There have been scant cases where a person actually benefited from cord blood that they banked. Most of the success is from cord blood taken from public banks. Parents should donate to public banks. The private banks are a ripoff on the initial fees and only worse with the yearly service charges.

  2. Valley Hospital has zero credibility. Anything they say or pitch to the media should be doubted. Really too bad because they probably do a thing or two right. I just don’t believe a word they say at this point.

  3. #2 you are a fool with a bias just because you do not approve or favor the hospital expanding.

  4. No I don’t approve of the hospital expansion. Nor do I approve of their underhanded, dishonest tactics. 1,000 additional parking spaces but no additional traffic? Really? They have no credibility and no respect for any reasonable person’s intelligence. It’s too bad that they’ve sacrificed all of their medical credibility on a really dumb idea. Hackensack is going to eat their lunch regardless of whether they expand or not.

  5. I am pretty open on the expansion but it is hard to support Valley when they appear to be lying and intimidating instead of discussing these plans in an open and honest way.

It certainly doesn’t help their credibility when they promote things like private cord banking which are huge money makers but provide dubious health benefits. It seems indicative of a certain mindset which is very hard to defend.
