A new truck is all well and good, but who is professionally cleaning our fleet, on a daily basis.
We have noticed that why are there so many different colors in our fleet. Nothing is uniform. We used to have one color across the board. Are we buying just what we can get, it looks that way. we never seen anything like this before. Itās all mishmash. I guess it is one is big rainbow?

I agree with #1 post. We should have our garbage truck professionally detailed ones a week because we are Ridgewood and we have the money.

I agree. This is usually one big bitching session for any and every action by the Village. It is usually not helpful, mean-spirited, and ugly. I think folks need to grow up and get a life. Volunteer to help, or offer something positive, or STFU.

They were washing trucks is squirting it down with Just plain water, no oneās properly cleaning these vehicles. The Village management should inspect the whole fleet.
maybe the drivers don’t need to go full throttle from one house to the next and the trucks would live longer.
Saw this very same thing the other morning with a truck turning onto to Godwin. Accelerated from the corner and screeched to a halt at the can a few feet away. Couldn’t believe it. The guy riding on the back of the truck didn’t seem to mind one bit.
he doesnt mind since they are paid for ‘task work’.. if they haul ass and get the pickup done they can go home… and get the full days pay

We wonder who are the jerks that are putting thumbs down regarding how they clean the trucks. You canāt clean a vehicle with just squirting it down with water. And who taught these guys how to drive, yes, they do speed from house to house, and then jam on the break, itās ridiculous. The truck wasnāt designed to do that thatās vehicle abuse. Some of these vehicles inside are disgusting. We blame supervision for this. Just like where they bought the trucks. The yard is filthy. Stinky smelly. Unacceptable. We would like to see the manager get involved.

Thumbs, down on the yard being dirty, are you kidding me. That yard is disgusting. Thereās always litter around garbage truck smelling, trucks are filthy. The doors are filthy. Just look up at the roof big holes. Itās embarrassing. The one garage building is a full disgrace, workers tell me that there are red droppings all over the place, maybe we need to put Health to inspection.
The thumbs down are likely for the emoji moronic town worker who keeps posting ( while on the clock) about cleaning the refuse trucks and macadam around town. How about getting to work!
