Ridgewood NJ, The two flyovers by the Thunderbirds and Blue Angles will begin around noon Tuesday (04/28/2020). The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds have announced flight plans over New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia to salute first responders and hospital workers working on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak. The flyovers will take place April 28.
A formation of six F-16C/D Fighting Flacon and six F-18C/D Hornet aircraft will conduct the flyovers as a salute from the Air Force and Navy to recognize health care workers, first responders, military, and other essential workers.
Flyovers in Newark, New York City and surrounding areas will start at 12 p.m. and last approximately 35 minutes.Flyovers in Trenton will start at 1:45 p.m. and last approximately 10 minutes.Flyovers in Philadelphia will start at 2 p.m. and last approximately 20 minutes.
Residents in these areas will be able to see the flyover from the safety of their homes and should maintain all social distancing guidelines during the event.
This is very cool we need to do more for all the people that I’ve been working through this terrible times. Back in March when this first started some individuals thought this was a joke. Now looking back at the beginning of March this was no joke. God bless the individuals that past on.
