to Honor the Memory of Roger Wiegand – September 5th – Village Hall Court Room

On Friday, September 5th at 5:30pm a plaque honoring Roger Wiegand will be installed on the Village Council podium in the Village Hall Court Room. This plaque honors Roger’s memory and is a tribute to his passion for providing information to “the public”. All are invited to attend and celebrate Roger and his contribution to the Ridgewood community. A reception will follow.

  1. What jerks this Council has turned out to be. Try to get there with all the traffic from the streets being closed for the car show. They could have done it at any Council meeting. Why the night of the car show? Just goes to show you how out of touch they are with their surroundings

  2. Suggest we just acknowledge Roger’s public contribution to the Village at tonight’s meeting comments from the public portion. Display the plague that will be posted, should help.

I’ll provide a bucket of golf balls “symbol” of Roger’s daily collection of hits out of bounds and given them to all his friends at the Village Hall.

  3. Is Deputy Mayor Albert Pucciarelli ever going to get the pronunciation of Roger’s last name correct?

When the Deputy Village Clerk, Donna Jackson, couldn’t get the pronunciation of Councilwoman Gwenn Hauck’s last name correct, she was never seen at a Village Council meeting again.

    Get with it Albert!

  4. That was an ongoing disrespectful annoyance that would irk Roger. He would go to the microphone week after week and state his name correctly, then Mr. Pucciarelli would mispronounce it.

  5. I think he did is just to bust Roger’s balls.

  6. #5 – if so then that’s funny. A little tweak now and then would be good for Boyd too. Lord knows he can dish it out….

  7. You have a thin skin Al #5

  8. Boyd dishes out facts while the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Village Manager dish out B.S. FACT seems to be a four-letter-word for those three.
