River Edge NJ, this Saturday , today Jim Arakelian will be holding a FREE snow shoveling class in his driveway. Come and join the class and learn about the proper ways to shovel. Reviewed techniques will include the scoop and throw method, the down and push method (AKA the plow technique), as well as the upside down scraping technique. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to enhance your snow lifting techniques without throwing your back out! He will provide the driveway to ensure your training is conducted in the most life-like situation, you only need to provide your own shovel (Ergonomically designs suggested) . You can send him a PM for additional details and times. Seating is limited and handled on a first come first served basis. Vax or unvaccinated, proof of insurance required! Come enjoy the fun!
Tom Sawyer ran a similar class on fence whitewashing
Ummm….tell Jim that a state of emergency exists…

msg to James: I do not know how to send info to patch so I am sending this to you. Residents should be aware that there is a scam operating thru postal mail in the local area. The item is a mailing that anounces itself as Mew Jersey Opinion Survey (www.njopinion.org – that address is set up with a privacy block so that readers cannot see from whom it is sent. By reading the message carefully (and noting a spelling error in the middle) whomever is driving this is asking for participation in a survey and offering an inducement of a gift card (val=$2). The message states that the responses will be kept confidential. However. to participate, one must use a smart phone or computer and key in your code contained in the mailing. Be aware that the code is tied to your mailing address on the front of the message document, so they will know exactly who is sending the responses. Be aware that this form of ‘data mining’ is often sold to multiple other parties with the result that one’s privacy and/or opinion can be compromised. The best advice is to not respond in any way.
