Paramus NJ, according to Paramus Deputy Police Chief Robert Guidetti ,on Thursday New York teenagers fleeing police in a stolen car hit two vehicles stopped in traffic while exiting onto New Jersey Route 4 in Paramus . The two youths apprehended in a residential area .

Parris Lamont Dennis, 18, of Jamaica, New York, was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault while eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest and eluding police. He was also issued summonses for reckless, careless and unsafe driving.
Shahiem McCrimmon, 19, of Bronx, New York, was charged with possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.
Saddle River Police issued an alert that a stolen 2019 Honda Civic had eluded officers. The Honda, with Vermont license plates, was spotted on Route 17 near Garden State Parkway by Paramus Police, who attempted to stop the vehicle. But the vehicle fled, and the officer did not pursue.
Moments later, the wanted vehicle crashed into the two vehicles in the area of Route 4, and the two youths ran east across the highway and were then seen on Farview Avenue where police gave chase and apprehended them . The youths were transported to the Bergen County Jail to await their first court appearance. No word on whether the keys were left in the Honda.
