They will be in the Township Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
PSE&G will be going house to house checking for the safe continued operation of gas meters. This is not a mandatory service call and if you do not feel comfortable allowing them access inside your residence you do not have to let them in.
The PSE&G inspectors will be operating minivans clearly marked with PSE&G logos. The inspectors will also be wearing PSE&G identification cards and will be wearing yellow safety vests. Inspectors will be checking in with the police department daily.
Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call the Township of Washington Police Department (201) 664-1140.
