Ridgewood NJ, Uber plans to add trains, buses, planes, and car rentals to its UK app this year. It will expand these services to other countries if the test goes well. The company is aiming to become a one-stop shop for all travel needs. It plans to add hotel bookings in the future. Uber recently secured a 30-month license to continue operating in London after a battle with city regulators over its ride-hailing app.

  1. Doesn’t include boats, typical! Boaters face discrimination at every turn these days it seems. No contract should be made with Uber unless they decide to become more boater-friendly.

First I’m hearing of this. I’m interested in hearing what kinds of discrimination boaters are facing these days.

Are boaters being profiled by police?
Are boaters being redlined into certain neighborhoods?
Are boaters being targeted with voting restrictions?
Are states passing bills requiring schools to not acknowledge boaters exist?
Are boaters incarcerated at increased rates compared to non-boaters?

      Inquiring minds want to know!

      1. Yes to all of the above.
        Any other questions?

  2. Uber is evil

    1. I don;t understand the upvotes to this ridiculous comment. Uber & Lyft are great and have given the consumer far more control over the shady taxis that they more or less replaced. Way better than paying for parking at the airport. Don’t like Uber? Don’t use them. Your loss.
