Twp.of Washington NJ, Uniformed and plainclothes police officers from Paramus Police, Ridgewood Police, and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office rushed to aid Washington Township Police officers safely subdue an individual armed with two (2) knives in the rear yard of a single family home located in the 1100 block of Linwood Avenue, Washington Township on Wednesday morning, 02/26. A Washington Township EMS ambulance transported the individual to New Bridge Medical Center for evaluation. No injuries were reported in the incident, which appears to have stemmed from a domestic dispute. No word provided on the scene as to whether any criminal charges related to the knife possession or attempted assault of police officers would be filed.

I’m expecting a news conference from Senator Granny Weinburg and Gov Beaver teeth about their new legislation banning metal knives. Only plastic knives are to be allowed, and only after backround checks. Plastic straws however, possession of…more than 10….. is a felony
