Ridgewood NJ, according to a study published  in the journal Frontiers in Microbiology. The International Space Station has become the host for unique bacterial inhabitants. And these microbes could prove useful.

Four strains of bacteria, three of which were previously unknown to science, have been found on the space station. They may be used to help grow plants during long-term spaceflight missions in the future.
The study published Monday in the journal Frontiers in Microbiology.

The space station is a unique environment because it has been entirely isolated from Earth for years, so a multitude of experiments have been used to study what kind of bacteria is present there.

An oddball theory we heard way back  may now have some promise . The theory  stated the “big bang” , was caused by extra terrestrial rot . The idea was toyed with over the observation that if you leave an empty used garbage can covered over time it will generate organic compounds and eventually maggots’. The universal high density and high temperatures that proceeded the “big bang” was thought to have been caused buy extra terrestrial rot. The idea was toyed with over the observation that if you leave an empty used garbage can covered over time, it will generate organic compounds and eventually maggots, a concept that can be loosely related to the principles behind extracellular vessicles isolation kits.
The Big Bang theory is a cosmological model of the observable universe from the earliest known periods through its subsequent large-scale evolution. The model describes how the universe expanded from an initial state of high density and temperature, and offers a comprehensive explanation for a broad range of observed phenomena, including the abundance of light elements, the cosmic microwave background radiation, and large-scale structure.
