With every day this town loses a little bit more of its appeal…
I was really excited to go out to eat on Monday only to have my lunch ruined. I was at Lisa’s on Oak St. when two women from the town went into the restaurant and started yelling at the owners and carrying on about a permit. The lack of professionalism from the 2 women who came in from town was very upsetting for both me and the people I was at lunch with. I feel bad that the owners had to put up with that on top of all of the other things I imagine they’re going thru trying to keep their businesses open. That being said, the food was delicious as always and can’t wait to be back to support!
I’m eating at another town. I don’t know why anyone deals with this shit.

When is Ridgewood going to wake up. to life.
Any regulations protecting pedestrians walking on sideways near Ridgewood Ave and Chestnut St, or anywhere in town? How about closing streets to vehicle traffic, except a lane for emergency up the middle, so tables can set up in streets, allowing safe passage on sidewalks designed for pedestrians.
The person eating outside ion Oak street should complain to the building department.
I think many are volunteers Even s volunteer they have a panel interview process for the zoning board.
I stopped going to ridgewood a very long time ago due to the cost of parking. Now just to pick up a sandwich need t walk down the street to pay?? Pricing went up thanks to the new garage.
Once they did valet parking on the street was another reason I stopped going as well taking away from people who want to go enjoy the town.
