Ridgewood NJ., The November 3, 2020 General Election is primarily a Vote by Mail Election. ALL REGISTERED VOTERS HAVE RECEIVED A VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT. If you have not already done so, you may return your postage paid Mail-in ballot in the following ways.
- Mail it via U.S. Postal Service. It must be postmarked no later than November 3, 2020 and must be received by the County no later than November 10, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. If it is not received by this date and time or if it is postmarked after November 3rd, your vote will not count.
- Put it into the Ballot Box (it is red, white and blue) located off of the main parking lot, by the lobby doors of Village Hall. The ballots are picked up from this location every day by a Republican and a Democrat, and transported to the County offices by a Sheriff’s Officer, for counting. The deadline to place the mail-in ballot in this ballot box is November 3rdat 8:00 p.m. The Bergen County Board of Elections has already started counting these mail-in ballots.
- Bring it with you to the polling location for your voting district. You will have to wait on line to fill out a certificate prior to placing your sealed mail-in ballot into the small ballot box. The deadline to do this at the polling location is November 3rd at 8:00 p.m.
If you have misplaced your Mail-in Ballot, please come to your polling location, and you will vote on a paper, provisional ballot. Please note that each provisional ballot takes at least 5 minutes to complete, and that there will probably be long lines at all of the polling places, so consider placing your marked ballot into the outside ballot box, off of the main parking lot by the lobby doors of Ridgewood Village Hall.
Please note that only those who are blind, illiterate or unable to mark a paper ballot will be able to vote in the ADA voting machine at the polling place.
If you have not yet voted your mail-in ballot, please click on this link for an informational video on how to fill out your Mail-In Ballot: https://youtu.be/Z0nva8m00xU.
Once you have mailed in or put your mail-in ballot into the ballot box,
www.njelections.org has a site, “TRACK YOUR BALLOT” which permits voters to see if their ballot has been received by the Board of Elections. Please wait 3-5 days after mailing your ballot or putting it into the ballot box to use this website.
A new regulation allows voters whose ballots are rejected for “a missing or discrepant signature” to be notified and given the opportunity to CURE the signature defect “in accordance with the procedures established by the Secretary of State.”

Just Vote No!
I voted 3 weeks ago by mail, but can’t get anything confirmed about if or when my ballot was counted. Every time I try answering questions to open an account and see where my ballot is, it stops me at date of birth. I should have known anything run by democrats wouldn’t work.
Robert, you might call the Board of Elections. That site worked for me.
The Chinese or the Russians will take care of this.
