Ridgewood NJ, Village of Ridgewood Mayor Susan Knudsen ,wished everyone a happy fourth and thanked the Ridgewood Fourth of July Committee , all the parade participants, and supporters :

“Thank you to everyone who worked to make Ridgewood’s 4th of July an amazing and beautiful community event! Beginning with the traditional 9am flag raising ceremony at the train station followed by the “Stronger Together” 4th of July parade! The day’s events were greeted with warmth, appreciation, cheering, and plenty of applause.

Thank you to the many first responders on hand today ensuring the safety of the thousands of attendees and to Village staff for their support!

Thanks to all the marching units in today’s parade with a special thanks to our elementary school parents and students for their amazing and creative “Stonger Together” floats!
And thank you to EVERYONE who came to watch Ridgewood’s 2021 4th of July parade!
WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!”

  2. What do you think I should run. We always need a mayor that gets involved with everything. Remember she knows what’s going on throughout the departments. She has more than high in the sky.

  5. Wow… as expected we have anonymous children annihilating “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. It’s a 4th of July parade. Should the Mayor and all other members of the Village Council and Board of Education have stayed home, or just ones you don’t like? Must you piss on and politicize everything? 🙄
