    1. I hope the paid YMCA Consultant was involved again!

He did an amazing job the first go-around.

  2. Dreadful

  3. Project is dead.

  5. Gigantic turf field.
    Tiny playground.
    Doesn’t fit with historic property.
    Call and write to SHPO.

  6. Zzzzzz.

    Newsflash: This project is dead.

No amount of chirping from Keith is going to change this.

    Move along.

  7. Village is in a financial crisis. No longer feasible.

    1. The villa just raised taxes by 3M dollars. They will collect enough money for this project in 2-3 years.

  8. The secret talks in village Hall, be prepared for furlough’s. They cannot keep on borrowing money. They’re spending money that they don’t have. The problem is going to explode.

  9. After they remove the contamination in a bringing in clean soil, they should just plant wildflowers and grass seed and make a nature walk. Leave it alone. Are they going to rebuild that burn with clean soil or are they gonna put up some kind of sound barrier fencing, anyone know.

    1. The new plan shows 8 feet chain link fence. No burm, no sound wall.
The shedler neighborhood is against this Mayor, why would they get a sound wall?

      1. A sound wall for the Route 17 noise? That is not a Ridgewood responsibility.

Or you complaining about the sound of children playing baseball?

  11. It’s over. More lawsuits forthcoming.

  12. Shooting for Guinness Book of World Records for number of applications for the same thing on the same property.

  13. Kazmark doesn’t care it isn’t his money and he has to do what Vagianos hired him to do which is to fulfill the promises that Slim Shady Vagianos got paid to do (allegedly) and put the darn field on a highway for the sports organizations. See this is pay to play (allegedly) so do you see what is going on here. Next PauLIE will have apartments built on top of all of the buildings down in the CBD and his real estate empire will come to fruition and the garage will be full. Believe you me. Just wait and see.

  14. Well, I’m glad the mayor council don’t care about the money, because once these lawsuits start coming in on the behalf of employees, the taxpayers are going to cry. Oh well, blame upper management. It’s their fault. This is what happens when management doesn’t perform. They’ve been screwing up left and right for years.☠️

  15. Love the social media posts over the duration of this nonsensical project where the athletic support persons are still talking bout lack of fields and artificial turf. The entitlement is simply incredible.

    1. Half of those nitwits will be empty nesters living in SC or FLA by the time the remediation is finished.

PS: None of their kids will be playing D1 sports either.

Another delusion that’s going to require years of therapy.

  16. Project Toxic Soil is over. ridgewood state enviornmental agencies offer no accountability. What is going on. Remove the toxic soil and restore this land now you crooks. I thought democrats were supposed to care about the environment?

  17. This is a case of the emperor has no clothes or rather Ridgewood has no money.

  18. Field of screams.

  19. I am confused by some of the numbers in the “Independent Assessment of Project Needs” by Suburban Consulting Engineers. Are there really 2360 kids playing organized soccer? This is literally half the total school-age population (grades K-12). Also, it looks like the town already has 23 baseball/softball fields, and 29 fields that can be used for soccer/lacrosse/football. Is this correct?

    1. Well said…Jane. Facts are facts. These are not.

    2. There are a total of 37 fields currently available within the master library schedule. There is no lack.
