Village : Seeking Residents to Volunteer to Serve on the Planning Board

The Village Council is looking for residents who are interested in volunteering to serve on the Planning Board.

The Planning Board reviews site plans and subdivision applications; prepares, adopts, and amends the Master Plan; and makes recommendations to the Village Council regarding amendments to developmental regulations and the official map.

All interested residents should fill out a Citizen Volunteer Leadership form (found on the Village website under “Forms”), and send it along with a cover letter and a biography or resume to:

Heather Mailander

Village Clerk

Village of Ridgewood

131 North Maple Ave.

Ridgewood, NJ 07451

Deadline for submissions is February 20, 2013.

  1. A prerequisite should be real thick skin and abilty to take alot of crap!

  2. I hope there are adequate conflicts checks in place. There seems to be a lot of strange (or not so strange) connections and affiliations amongst the officials and various developers and their attorneys!

  3. No need to apply if you didn’t donate to the campaign

  4. Valley Hospital-Aronsohn-Planning Board-Village Council-developer connections are becoming increasingly obvious and painful. We’re handing the keys to the devil.

  5. Should have added Pucciarelli.

  6. With the big development plans coming up being on the planning board is not a desirable position. You will be the most hated man/woman in ridgewood. There is no winning on this.
