Visitor Injured in Elevator Accident at Kessler Institute in Saddle Brook

Saddle Brook NJ, an individual sustained a traumatic leg injury during a Thursday evening, 09/28, elevator entrapment at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation’s six-story facility located at 300 Market Street, Saddle Brook. According to sources at the scene the victim was riding the elevator with his adult son, having visited a relative at the Market Street facility, when the door opened and his arm and leg got stuck between floors.

Saddle Brook Fire Department called upon fire departments from Elmwood Park, Hackensack, and Rochelle Park to assist in the safe extrication of the trapped individual, who was rushed by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for treatment.

  2. There is more to this. Just because a door opens, and it should not have, your leg isn’t automatically thrust out the door. The average person would stay clear.

    1. OK MORON. Obviously that’s not how it went down. He was entering the elevator and it malfunctioned and started going up causing him to trip into it and pinning his leg. Can you say LAW SUIT?
