To the Editor of The Ridgewood Blog:
Vote NO on Question 4!
Those who proposed this question of combining our Council and Bd of Ed elections have used false reasoning, let alone false facts.
Our family has lived in Ridgewood since 1968, our children graduated decades ago, but we stay here and pay taxes because we are grateful to our schools for doing an excellent job.
An important obligation is to be informed about any ballot issue, and especially to have the opportunity to see, discuss and vote on the school budget. We usually vote yes, except for the few years when the vote was changed to November when there was not a public examination of the budget.
The OVOV want to bring back those years of less transparency and much less honesty. During the years the vote was changed to November not one Board of Education vacancy was challenged, because voters didn’t really have an opportunity to take part in their most cherished right: to VOTE.
Please vote NO on question 4, on the separate page (thus making it more confusing).
Mail in your ballots as soon as possible before November 3.

Great job Ellie, as always
Vote NO
Do you think it’s going to be interesting in the village, what a mess it’s going to be on a federal level. We will never ever see a true power of the federal level, it’s going to take miracle for an honest vote. They will be done voting probably a week after. And when the FBI tells you that other sources are interfering in the phone, well good luck. When you go electronic guess why the door is open. North Korea, China, Russia, These people are professional hackers.
Amen!
Yes Ellie!!!
I voted a big fat HELL NO
We voted May this year and got two good new board of Ed members.
I agree with Ellie and value her advice. She’s an extremely important opinion in this community and is always honest and reasonable.
