Edison NJ, yesterday Northeast Corridor Line rail service was suspended in both directions between Trenton and Penn Station New York due to fire department activity near Edison. (Brush fire).  NJ Transit Police Officers are on scene and assisting.⁣

After an hour ,Northeast Corridor Line rail service has resumed with limited service between Penn Station New York and Metropark due to fire department activity near Edison. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes were cross-honored by NJ TRANSIT bus, private carrier buses and PATH at Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street. NJTPD and NJTPD ESU continued to assist throughout the NEC.⁣ NEC rail service has resumed with significant delays in both directions between Penn Station New York & Trenton the rest of the evening.

  1. Which is maybe if the railroad cleaned up their property we wouldn’t have these kind of problems. Have you ever taken a train ride from Mahwah to Hoboken and you see all the garbage along the railroad tracks especially when you get down past after Fairlawn
