West Milford NJ, the West Milford police are seeking the owner of a deceased dog found in the woods. The dog, a male husky, was discovered in the woods off Clinton Road near Schoolhouse Cove Road. He was wearing a black nylon tactical-style collar but had no identification tags and was not microchipped. The authorities have determined that the dog does not belong to any local shelters. The West Milford Animal Shelter Society is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the identification of the dog and its owner. The dog’s death is under investigation as a criminal matter.
