What to Do With the Nearly Empty Hudson Garage in Ridgewood?

Hudson garage

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood Nj, readers made plenty of suggestions as to what to do with the nearly empty Hudson Garage . Some readers including the Ridgewood blog suggested  some sort of tourist attraction on the top deck , overs suggested a turf field, pickleball courts , a rooftop food court  and moving the farmers market to the roof top of the Hudson garage .

  1. Mini golf pls.

  2. Wait…. Aren’t there apartment dwellers nearby that will need a place to park? Why didn’t anyone think about that before?

  3. Make a hat out of the dammed thing….What our village idiots fail to understand (and the list grows) is that bond interest and fixed operating expenses are for our account, regardless if car one parks in the garage. The BS proforma financial guidance that our elected officials stood by is deeper in the red BS bucket. The fact was (and painfully is) that the village did not need the garage in the first place. But now, this white elephant du jour will eat through our resources with little revenue to offset its costs. Expect a tax increase to pay for this deficit spending.
At some point, the BS pile will be too high to tolerate. But keep writing those checks to the tax collector villagers. Do you part in perpetuating federal, state, and local mismanagement. Our collective electoral stupidity will be on of the few things we will have left to pass along to our children.

  5. How do we get rid of these Village idiots that are running the asylum called Village Hall?
Far too many of our residents fail to understand the big picture regarding how they and those before them are ruining our town.

Have them hold their Town Council meetings there in the Winter! Wasted space occupied by wasted minds.
