Woodcliff Lake NJ, Woodcliff lake Police officers recently responded to assist an investigation with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office in the Wood Dale County Park for a motor vehicle burglary. A window of a vehicle was broken and contents from the interior removed.
Since this incident alone, other similar acts have been reported by surrounding agencies. The actors typically target parking lots of gyms, parks or sports complexes where drivers may leave valuables inside their locked vehicle.
These crimes of opportunity can be avoided if residents consciously attempt to keep their valuables out of plain sight or remove them when they exit their vehicle. As always, do not hesitate to report any suspicious activity to the police department.
