Wyckoff NJ,  on Monday ,the Wyckoff suspended Eisenhower Middle School Principal Christopher Iasiello will get a holiday at taxpayers expense .  The Wyckoff Board of Education gave Iasiello  a year’s paid leave of absence was granted in return for his resignation.  The paid leave comes after a six-month paid suspension, and will extend from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022. On that date, Iasiello’s resignation from the district will become effective.

The Ridgewood blog had previously reported Giordano , along with Principal Christopher Iasiello, disappeared from the district without explanation in January. The assistant principal was quietly reinstated in March, also without explanation. Principal Iasiello was also suspended and remains so.

Documents submitted by Iasiello claim he allegedly turned over disciplinary action for the students to Giordano in October after it was revealed that three boys had enticed the principal’s daughter who is also a student at the school into flashing. The video was later posted on social media.

  1. Must have been cheaper than risking a lawsuit.

  2. The district got off cheap

  3. Why is Wyckoff being reported on the RIDGEWOOD blog?

  4. What a dirtbag. This is the guy who claims he was sexually harassed by the superintendent. Lolz!

She should sue him for slander.

    Good riddance.

  5. Iasiello ran out of money to support his legal expenses – period. District has much deeper pockets – giordano got the better deal, left with a good reference and his name not trashed.

Iasiello’s got a hefty mortgage in Wyckoff and three kids.

Very rarely do administrators choose to live amongst their kids peers – “don’t €%&$ where you eat” – good advice.

District got off cheap – very rarely do judges/arbitration want to overburden the tax payers with lofty payouts. This was from the district his years paid vacation to be able to move on and rehire.

  6. Obviously they aren’t getting a settlement bc his crazy wife is running her mouth responding to comments on Facebook.

A lawyer and a gag order on the settlement would have addressed this.

Not a loss for Wyckoff when they move out of town.

  7. Taxpayers are always missing something. Their ability to see behind closed doors. Garbage does not blow far from the trash heap. I’m a press photographer with the NPPA. Maybe we all of us, should do some dinng on this wretch and show him for what he is.

  8. @Linda – what is his wife saying? I have heard a bunch of stuff about the case, that the superintendent sexually harassed the principal, that kids illegally taped the girl and shared photos (highly illegal!) And that the principal enabled a very problematic and sexually inappropriate teacher to remain on staff for years.

For Wyckoff residents must think it’s all so tiresome.

  9. April 2021, “On Tuesday, for the first time, Wyckoff Board of Education Attorney Stephen Fogarty stated publicly that, contrary to Iasiello’s repeated denials, the principal participated in the investigation involving his own daughter.” Announced in a public meeting, widely reported including in North Jersey media.
