Ridgewood NJ, NJGOP Chairman: Democrats In Trenton Have Been Driving Resident Satisfaction Drop For Years

Trenton, NJ –  Yesterday Monmouth University released polling data that New Jersey’s quality of life index was at a record low.

In the release, pollster Patrick Murray noted “New Jerseyans seem to separate their views of the state as a whole from how they feel about their own neighborhoods.”

NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt released the following statement in response to the poll results:

“This poll is about more than just people’s dissatisfaction with their property taxes. These results are a reflection of the nearly twenty years that Democrats have been in control of the legislature and the culture they have created here. They are sucking the power – and life – out of New Jersey’s communities on and through everything from high density housing, to education, immigration, and over-regulation, and drowning them under the weight of Trenton’s uncontrolled spending.

“Governor Murphy’s unabashed, liberal policies are waking up New Jersey’s 9 million, weary residents. Enough is enough. The NJGOP has honest solutions to the State’s myriad problems. Don’t let bad government chase us out of our homes. Let’s chase bad government out of Trenton, instead.”

  1. Then again you may have lost your love for Ridgewood…
    .

  2. Over rated town!

  3. we seem to get what we don’t deserve every day in RIDGEWOOD..complete mismanagement

police riding around in 90 k SUVs insane spending

outside of great garbage collection and fire and valuable emergency departments ..the spending is completely
    out of control…

we are in a spending cyclone…piper will have to be payed in garage land..

  4. Cops talking on their cellphones sitting in their 90K SUVs with dark tinted windows while Villagers pay for their fuel, depreciation and cellphone usage…. sign of the times.

  5. You love Ridgewood? No parking, a CBD dominated by pawn shops and second hand stores, and a school system living off the fumes of a once-proud tradition of excellence that remains in free fall despite a $111 million budget. Oh, and our Village Council is populated with self-serving, narrow interest narcissists who seem to enjoy spending more and more of our tax dollars on their passion projects instead of repaving our roads.
