Ridgewood NJ, 2020 A year that promised perfect vision but seems to be delivering total blindness.  It is a year that will likely go down in history, just not for a pandemic.  By historical standards, this pandemic is moderate.  What is the real story for the history books then?

Those of us who’ve studied history recognize this moment, this point where the poles seem to flip, and lunatics are given the stage while sensible people are asked to sit down and shut and reluctantly but obediently comply.  It is the start of another cultural revolution.

Over the course of many decades, Marxists have captured nearly every American institution, even a majority of the churches.  Here in Ridgewood, churches, schools and businesses are openly posting Marxists propaganda and taking little or no heat for it.

Marxism is an ideology that allows a small amount of people to take power over and confiscate wealth from the majority.  They have traditionally used the poor to achieve their objectives, but as revolutions in Russia, China, Cuba and elsewhere only led to greater poverty for the people they promised to lift, as the gap in living standards between the rich and poor have narrowed under nominally capitalist economies, as the economic theory underpinning Marxism has fallen under the weight of experience, they have adapted new strategies.  The outreach shifted to individuals who could be made to feel dis-empowered or marginalized due to their race, gender or sexual orientation.

Very few people are truly against diversity or racial and gender equality, just as very few people are really against clean air and water, they just see through the propaganda and they’re free-thinking  enough to see what’s really going on.

During the cultural revolution in China in the 1960s, teachers, intellectuals and property owners were first publicly humiliated, soon after they were tortured and killed.  First some statues and buildings were torn down, then every last vestige of individual accomplishment was eviscerated.

We can no longer say it can’t happen here.  It already is.   The only question is if we will let it succeed.   Appeasement isn’t going to work.

So look beyond the fireworks, flag displays and virtual parades this Independence Day and take real action.  Risk being called names and losing friends.  Be your own Patrick Henry, or Thomas Paine, or the  peace and prosperity we have come to count on might soon be lost.

  1. This year never promised to be perfect. Not with this president

  3. We had 24/7 TDS from the MSM following Trump’s victory. This was right up to the beginning of this year. 2020 is the election year, so TDS was ramped up even more. You couldn’t turn on CNN without some talking head ranting about what a dangerous maniac Trump was. The Russia hoax that went an all that time kind of fizzled out when we all found out there was nothing behind the curtain. However, we then got big into Impeachment. That turned out to be a big nothingburger. Then, of course, Covid. The party of Science. We were all lectured by them about the stupidity of Republicans and a President who didn’t wear a facemask. He had blood on his hands. All the cases and deaths were his fault. We can’t re-open the economy because it’s too dangerous. Then George Floyd happened. All of a sudden, hundreds of thousands of marching protesters were “very brave” for putting their lives at risk because of a greater calling. Isn’t it somehow odd that a few weeks after these massive gatherings that our Covid numbers are shooting up again? As for the people who were destroying property, yes, these were a small minority. Meanwhile, the Hollywood elitists were fronting their bail. To top all this off, out of everyone they could have chosen to be their candidate, they chose Joe Biden? Holy crap. Joe F*&ing Biden? I know their argument is “anyone is better than Trump”, but really? Joe Biden? The man is clearly not firing on all cylinders. Obama had doubts about him when choosing a VP, due to the gaffe factor, and that was what, 12 years ago. What boggles my mind is that this imbecile is leading Trump in the polls. But then again, so was Hillary.

  4. Response to comment #3 – spot on. The Delaware Dimwit has a 14-point lead. Watch him squander it this summer.

    Four more years…

  5. James, still stuck in 2016? It’s 2020.

  6. It will pain me to vote for Biden, but it has to be done.

  7. There is no mention of Trump, Biden or an election in this article. Trump, as a target for hatred, has been beneficial to the cultural revolution and the Marxists have no reason to want him gone, especially given the risk of a near-term inflationary depression which he could effectively be blamed for. Their only goal for this cycle is to gain control of the Senate. This will give them control of any legislation and allow them to stop any Supreme Court nomination. They don’t mind waiting for 2024, when AOC will be old enough to run, to take the White House.

  8. It pained me to vote Trump 4 yrs ago but it had to be done. The alternative was horrible. This time around the alternative is even worse. Trump has major flaws but is much much better than the extreme left that terrorizes population with marxist methods and would sacrifice well being of common people to just get their way. We will play it safe. My whole extended family is voting Trump again.
