On August 27, 2026, coordinated law enforcement efforts led to the apprehension of all five suspects:

  • In New Jersey: Detectives, assisted by local police departments and the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team, arrested Jackson, Kenner, and Monroe in Passaic County. A search warrant executed at Jackson’s Passaic residence yielded an unserialized firearm (ghost gun) loaded with a high-capacity magazine, leading to additional weapon charges for Jackson. All three were remanded to the Bergen County Jail.

  • In Pennsylvania: Authorities in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton took Cuttino and Watson into custody without incident. Both are held in Pennsylvania correctional facilities awaiting extradition back to Bergen County.

Prosecutor Musella emphasized that charges are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
