Light Snow but Hazardous Travel Conditions , Especially for the Friday Morning Commute

Ridgewood NJ, New Jersey State Police warn widespread snow is expected to impact our state Thursday night into Friday morning. Be sure to monitor the weather closely as forecasts can change.

National Weather Service New York NY for our area low pressure is expected to produce a round of snow late Thursday night into Friday. Although there is still some certainty regarding
the exact track, timing, and intensity of the system, a general 1 to 3 inch snowfall is expected across the area. The snowfall is expected to impact the Friday morning commute.

National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly (South Jersey ) Not much change in the forecast for Thursday night and Friday morning’s snow storm. We’re expecting widespread 2-4″ of snow with some localized higher amounts of 4-6″+ possible near or south of the I-95 corridor. This snow is expected to impact the Friday morning commute, and a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of the area.

Accumulating Snowfall Potential Thu Night into Fri: Moderate to high potential for 2” or more of snow accumulation. The potential remains low for 6” or more of accumulation. This will result in snow covered roads and hazardous travel, especially for the Friday morning commute.

  3. I wrote this the other day…the HS parking lot was brined on Tuesday afternoon. Nothing else in town was brined however.
