Ridgewood NJ,. it has come to the attention of The Ridgewood Blog that Councilwoman Siobhan Winograd is cross-posting from her official, and hopefully unrestricted, Facebook page (see accompanying photo) over to a restricted Facebook Group’s page. Following her cross-posts, there are back and forth discussions between the Councilwoman and members of the restricted Facebook Group. Most of these recent discussions concern proposed development plans for the Schedler property.
The Ridgewood Blog questions whether it is appropriate, and for that matter legal, for an elected Council member to be carrying on discussions about official Village business on a Facebook Group’s page whose membership is restricted (allegedly in the past, an applicant’s race, ethnicity, and/or political affiliation may have blocked them from admission to this Facebook group).
Of special note: Members of The Ridgewood Blog’s staff recall that prior to the start of her election campaign for a seat on the Village Council, Ms. Winograd was one of the page administrators for the Facebook Group she’s now cross-posting to. She claimed to have resigned from that position at the start of her campaign.

The amount of illegality coming out of this crew is staggering
She is her own worst enemy. Nobody to blame but herself.
Nobody to blame but all the numb-nuts who voted for her.
That Moms snd Dads page is the worst. They excluded me because my last name is clearly Indian. They excluded my friend because they did not like her husband. Siobhan was the ringleader in all of that. She’s right there behind the scenes now.
Isn’t there a question as to whether the current administrator of that Facebook page is operating a business from his home in violation of Ridgewood’s zoning codes? If this is true, and the Councilwoman is aware of same and hasn’t reported it, does this constitute a conduct breech of some sort on her part?

The village is done come. The only way to fix all these problems is the clean house right from the top straight down because they’re all sleeping in the same bed. They’re sneaky hypocrites.
The yahoos who nastily dished it out to former council members are having it thrown at them now. How do you like it?
You know what maybe it’s a good idea that she’s talking about things, because in the past, everything was kept in close door sessions, and nobody knew that was going on. Now look the villages so toxic.
Winograd lies about almost everything she is posting. MEMBERS, PLEASE FACT CHECK!
She’s bonkers. Still pursuing a 10 year old lawsuit over Maroons Soccer. The kids are grownups now.
She has her buddy Steve Friday working her exclusionary tricks for that fb page. Go to the one called Moms and Dads with FREE speech. Much better.
