Franklin Lakes NJ, Scott Lieberman was indicted by a Grand Jury; charged with a second degree felony for driving recklessly and causing the death of Albert Van Schnellbacher. The next step is a formal arraignment but that date has not been set yet.
In October of 2022, the Ridgewood blog reported Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella had announced charges against SCOTT LIEBERMAN (DOB: 6/11/1961; married; business owner) of 100 Garden Court, Franklin Lakes, NJ for reckless manslaughter.
On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Teaneck Police Department was notified of a motor vehicle collision in the area of Windsor Road and Briarcliffe Road. A 92-year-old victim Albert Schnellbacher was transported to Holy Name Hospital where he was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The Teaneck Police Department then contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit for assistance. The ensuing investigation revealed that a 2022 Ferrari operated by SCOTT LIEBERMAN struck the victim’s vehicle resulting in his death.
This guy is a criminal. He lures young kids from other countries to work as lifeguards for his company. He promises them the moon, then doesnt pay them, puts 30 of them in a studio apartment with no working bathroom, and makes them work long hours all summer. They are all starving because they dont have money to buy food. Hes basically a human trafficker. I have no idea how he gets away with it.
