Franklin Lakes NJ, Scott Lieberman of Franklin Lakes, who is accused of causing the death of 92-year-old Albert Schnellbacher in a 2022 car crash, now faces a civil lawsuit. Indicted on vehicular homicide charges in March 2023, Lieberman had previously been charged with reckless manslaughter in October 2022. The incident involved Lieberman’s Ferrari Competizione striking Schnellbacher’s Chevy Equinox as the elderly man was turning left on Windsor Road from Briarcliff Road in Teaneck. Allegations against Lieberman include driving recklessly, crossing the yellow line, and speeding. He was released with conditions on October 6, 2022.
