Live Music Takes Over the Neighborhood: Ridgewood’s 2nd Annual Porchfest is Here!

Ridgewood NJ, Get ready for an afternoon of local talent, vibrant neighborhood energy, and community spirit! Ridgewood’s 2nd Annual Porchfest returns on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This free event transforms local front porches into stages, bringing neighbors together for a town-wide celebration of music and giving back.
Event Schedule & Neighborhood Performance Hubs
The music spans across town with staggered kickoff times on both the East and West sides:

East Side Kickoff (1:00 PM): Festivities launch on Brookside Avenue with a performance by the Ridgewood High School Marching Band, followed by acoustic, rock, and local musical acts performing on porches throughout the East Side neighborhood.

West Side Kickoff (2:00 PM): The music gets underway on the South Lawn of West Side Presbyterian Church, featuring live performances continuing across West Side porches throughout the afternoon.
Music with a Purpose: Supporting National Hunger Action Month
Porchfest is about more than just great music—it’s also an opportunity to support neighbors in need. In recognition of National Hunger Action Month, Porchfest has partnered with the Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Vicinity.

How to Help: Attendees are encouraged to bring grocery store gift cards to donate during the event.

Impact: All collected gift cards will go directly to helping local families facing food insecurity within the Ridgewood area.
