A Reminder from the Ridgewood blog : You get the Government you vote for

3 amigos in action Ridgewood NJ

You get the Government you vote for. So all you posters that voted for the 3 Amigos and now posting negative about them let me remind you what your vote did and how it screwed the rest of us. Yes Westside hows your leaf pick up coming along and the high density housing ?Yes Preserve Graydon Group hows the new ramp looking? Yes Shedler hows the house coming along and enjoy the 90X60 baseball field. We are all looking forward to the 5 story parking garage and increase in parking rates and hours. Let not forget the 0% tax increase for two years. Money taken from the emergency fund and the down grade of municipal services . Thank for that. Oh and I almost forgot. Thanks for the increase in the debt service which we will be paying for long after you 3 are gone.

  1. No Comments PJ. Guess the post hit home.

  2. Now does anyone remember why the last man lost the election?

  3. With local elections and the abysmally low voter turnout, it’s actually a case of getting the Government you don’t vote for. Getting elected is simply a case of having a small but well organized base.

  4. Time to Clean House and start the Process of rebuilding responsible Local Government ..accountable to the Taxpayers Not the OPPORTUNIST MERCHANTS,Incredible Damage has taken place on their Watch..

  5. Don’t look back. Move forward. Clean house.

  6. The comments on this blog do not represent the majority of voters

  7. Albert will post later because he has a Day Job

  8. “The comments on this blog do not represent the majority of voters” Here they come PJ.

  9. “Don’t look back. Move forward. Clean house.” I agree move forward but remember one thing 8:00am “Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.”
    ― Edmund Burke

  10. While those of us that post here may not represent a majority of registered voters, you can bet that we’ll all show up and vote come May. As we saw last time, it doesn’t take many votes to impact the outcome of a municipal election. Fool us once….

  11. Declan is right… nonetheless people that don’t vote get the government they deserve… the garage vote had about 30% which is the high watermark off cycle…. Voting in this town is pretty easy… As mayor Daley said “Vote early and vote often!”….

  12. I did not vote for them. I could not have been paid to vote for them. And I still must suffer with them. All you non-voters may have gotten what you deserved, but PLEASE vote next time!

  13. I sure as hell did not vote for any of the three of them. Someone brought a Pucciarelli sign to my house and I cleaned up my dog’s poop with it. The problem is, they got elected anyway. Now it is our business to run them the hell out of town.

I don’t know who you are who thinks that the blog does not represent the majority of registered voters. Really? I am betting that the blog posters represent the majority of people who actually vote. Everyone on the blog here is concerned, passionate, informed, and they all (except Rurik) hate the three amigos.

  14. I hope Albert and Gwenn run again in 2016. I cannot wait to see their egos destroyed when we run them out of office.

  15. Bi Al the Developers Friend for Mayor 2016.

  16. Correction “Big Al the Developers Friend for Mayor 2016.”

  17. 7:32 – Nope. It will be Mayor Knudsen, Deputy Mayor Sedon, and three as-yet-to-be-named council people. All three will be new names, for certain. None of the three is getting reelected. We all know poison when we see it and smell it.

  18. First Step in Rehab. Stop the ROT. Then Rebuild from There in 2016
