Universal Design Forum:
How To Make Your Home a Better Place In Which To Grow Older

Guest Speaker: Thomas M. Yotka

Come Learn About Universal Design History, Design Concepts,
Safety Innovations and Zoning Impacts

Thomas M. Yotka, the Director of the Department of Buildings and Inspection for the Village of Ridgewood, has more than 30 years’ experience in code administration and holds the highest technical and administrative licenses issued by the NJ Department of Community Affairs. He is on staff at Bergen Community College where he teaches Fire Protection courses and for more than 15 years taught Building Inspection courses at the County College of Morris. Thomas has also provided technical inspection training for the Department of Community Affairs for code professionals. His credentials include Certified Building Official and Certified Public Manager.
