Amazon Calls Grocery Business an ‘expensive hobby’

Ridgewood NJ, despite spending billions on developing services and technologies to become a grocery market giant, Amazon is still just a niche player in the industry. Its delivery services have failed to stand out in a crowded field and its Go automated convenience stores have been deprioritized. The technology Amazon implemented in its stores was novel, but it didn’t add any value to the shopping experience. Groceries were not a big topic on Amazon’s fourth-quarter results call earlier this month.

  1. Well then they should sell the business to people that care…

  3. Sell the business to people that care? You really don’t understand business, do you

    1. As soon as Whole Foods was sold to Amazon, (before they did away with the cafe at the Ridgewood store), you could no longer get organic milk in lattes etc. Selfish move on their (Amazon) part.

Amazon also “did away” with so many products in Whole Body. One could order on line, but you don’t always want to order on line.

You can still make money in business by being “in service to others”, rather than the selfish way of being “self serving”

Of course, what am I saying??!!
Bezos doesn’t allow bathroom breaks. His Amazon employees have to pee in a cup.
