Ridgewood NJ, Get ready for a once-in-a-generation milestone! Ridgewood, New Jersey has officially unveiled plans for its 116th Annual Fourth of July Celebration, and this year promises to be the biggest one yet.

Staged on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the community will gather under the historic banner of “USA 250 – America’s Birthday Bash” to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Local residents, families, and visitors are invited to turn the streets into a star-spangled birthday bash 250 years in the making.

The full-day celebration is packed with patriotic traditions, family fun, and an epic evening festival. Here is the official timeline so you can plan your day:

🇺🇸 Morning Traditions

  • 9:00 a.m. – Annual Flag Raising Ceremony: Kick off Independence Day with a historic flag raising ceremony at Wilsey Square.

  • 10:00 a.m. – The Ridgewood Fourth of July Parade: Watch the streets come alive with patriotic fanfare. This year, participants are pulling out all the stops, decking out floats and parade entries in red, white, and blue to honor America’s 250-year journey.

🎆 Evening Entertainment (Starting at 6:00 p.m.)
