Ridgewood NJ,just a day after the nation celebrates a day honoring its military heroes, the importance of Memorial Day is rated higher than ever.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 51% of American Adults consider Memorial Day, the day when we honor those who have died while serving in the U.S. military, to be one of our nation’s most important holidays. That’s up from 47% last year and is the highest since Rasmussen Reports began asking this question.
Only seven percent (7%) view Memorial Day one of our least important holidays, while 37% say it’s somewhere in between. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
