Franklin Lakes NJ, according to North Jersey media ,Franklin Lakes police suspect an unidentified person started a fire at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church early Wednesday morning.
Police received a call just after 1:30 a.m. that there may be a fire happening at Urban Farms Shopping Center. When officers arrived on scene, they found the church across the street was engulfed in flames.
One person was arrested in connection with the fire and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office’s Arson Unit is looking into the incident further.
Waldwick Fire Department was one of the responding departments last night on a third alarm suspicious fire at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Franklin Lakes. Rescue 642 responded as a FAST Team and Tower Ladder 641 responded for defensive operations. Department dispatched at 01:46 and units were back in town by 7am. Tough night for the volunteers, great job by all involved.
