Ridgewood NJ, beloved Travell school crossing guard and Glen School lunch lady Janett Balboa stricken with Stage IV Colon Cancer . Her son Anthony Balboa is organizing a fundraiser on GOFUNDME.
At the end of October, we received the devastating news that Janett was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon cancer. Thanks to the swift planning of the Oncology team at Hackensack, Janett will begin chemotherapy as soon as Friday.
Having been a Ridgewood resident for over 30 years, Janett has been a pillar in the Ridgewood community. Working as a crossing guard and lunch aide, Janett has influenced and assisted thousands of Ridgewood students.
This money will be used to pay medical bills and general living costs to alleviate monetary pressure during her treatment.
