East Rutherford NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco joined Congressman Gottheimer to discuss preparations for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
Tedesco Thanked Congressman Gottheimer for his leadership, and for continuing to advocate for the necessary funding and resources we need to ensure that New Jersey is ready to host this global event effectively while keeping our Bergen County families and residents safe.He also thanked Bergen law enforcement agencies, first responders, and the New Jersey State Police for the work they are already doing to prepare for 2026.
Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco finished by saying, “We look forward to hosting this global event very soon and showcasing all that our great County has to offer, and we are working with every stakeholder to ensure that we are prepared.
